Aloha!
This weekend was filled with mellow activities. We spent Friday afternoon driving through
Waikiki taking in all of the sights and the wonderful ocean air and then went to dinner at the Olive Tree. If this place sounds familiar, it is because we have spoken of it before. The
Olive Tree is a Greek restaurant in Kahala and the food is amazing! As many times as we have been, the food has always been good. Some places can be so inconsistent, good one day, mediocre the next, but not this restaurant.
Saturday we met the family for lunch at
California Pizza Kitchen. We had the Pepperoni Supremo pizza and Kung Pao chicken spaghetti. This was our first stab at the pasta and it was worth having again. It had a bit of a kick, but not too much. It could stand to have a bit more chicken but other than that it was wonderful.
Sunday Eric went golfing at the
Hawaii Kai golf course while Viktoria spent the afternoon having her hair done at
Aveda Salon and doing a little shopping at
Ala Moana Shopping Center.
In all it was a fairly tame weekend, but we all need one of those occasionally!
